Which Micro Red Dot?
All,
I currently have an Ultradot Matchdot 2 on my Trailside. I really like the sight but am moving away from the Trailside.
I have a new gun on order that will take a Micro sight much better (like the Aimpoint Micro H-1) than the larger Matchdot.
So, question is, is the Aimpoint worth the premium over other brands (like Bushnell) and why? What size MOA dot should I be looking at? I think 2 or 3 seems right?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Which Micro Red Dot?
I have a Konus. It doesn't seem bright enough in full sun. In my indoor league, it seems to work fine.
Primary Arms sells a micro dot that a lot of shooters on AR15.com like.
I recently began using a really big dot. It definitely makes my trigger control a lot easier. The big dot seems to move much less than a finer dot.

I had 3 Matchdots but sold them after trying an Aimpoint Micro. The Aimpoint seems to have less parallax, definitely much better battery life, lighter weight and a smaller package. I'm very fond of the 4 Micros I now own.

Which MOA did you get, 2 or 4. Also, any reason to get the T1 over the H1?
Thanks!

Re: Which Micro Red Dot?
The Matchdots had adjustable dot sizes from 2 to 8 moa. The T1 is night vision compatible where the H1 is not. H1's were cheaper so that's what I purchased, all 4 moa.

Thanks. Looks like the H1 will be the way to go as I don't need night vision. I jump around on my Matchdot between 2 and 4 MOA, so I will probably buy the 2MOA.
Is there any "real" accuracy delta between 2 and 4 MOA at 50yards or does sight alignment and zero negate any mathematical advantage?
Thanks!

Re: Which Micro Red Dot?
the advantage to the R1 is it has a dot brightness setting that is brighter than the H1, with no sunshades this could be needed at some matches like perry.
