9mm OAL for accuracy?
I have a Springfield XDm that I hope to use for CMP matches. Experimenting with some dummy rounds, I found that my max oal is about 1.110" with XTP/HAP and Zero conical JHP before the shoulder hits the lands. Thought I would try 1.095-1.100" to start, but I'd rather not reinvent the wheel if anyone has the "ideal" oal for this gun. Or is there an ideal distance from the lands that the bullet should be?

I have no issue with the magazines. 1.165" fits in my magazines.

Well, 1.079 is what I use.
Just checked, that's for my 1911
And that's Atlanta Arms dimension on their match 115 ammo.

My most accurate load after working up almost a dozen bullets in four different powders was a Hornady 115 grain xtp, 6.0 grains of power pistol, coal of 1.075, and remington primers.
