New Matchdot II Questions

Udot replaced my HD Micro for a (I assume) new Matchdot 2.  I must say that getting the Mdot out of the chute would have saved me 1 1/2 years of struggling with 2 faulty HD's on my S&W 986.  I really like the 2,4,6,8 MOA and 2 reticle settings.  The rest of the controls are really superb.  I've mounted it on the EGW S&W rail and it looks a little high off the bore line due to the supplied Udot rings.  Do any of you have a suggestion on different rings to lower the sight line closer to the bore line?  Should I blue Loctite the ring screws?  I'm a little goosey about Loctite-ing steel screws in aluminum.   Any advice out there?   Thanks.

weavers low work well, this might save you some headaches... the zero for the different reticles are not the same or at least were not on mine so zero it with the one you plan to shoot with.
