Hoping to find a gunsmith that is familiar with the needs of competition shooters and how to work on rimfire target pistols. I think a lot of the guys I know are familiar with tactical weapons, Glocks M&P, and such.. anyone out there know someone. trigger jobs, installs, etc.

Northern Virginia Gun Works, Springfield.  Both Sandy and Robby Garrett have worked on my bullseye pistols and their work was outstanding.

I’ve used Sandy and Dave.  Seen Sam’s work.  You can’t go wrong.
Of the 3 for a 1911 Dave or Sam.
For a wheel gun or bolt rifle, Sandy.
For a gas gun (AR), Dave.

Sandy and Robert Garrett of Northern Virginia Gun Works, Inc. in Springfield, VA.

Both are members of the Pistolsmith Guild and excel in what you state as what you are looking for.  Sandy is a revolver guru and Robert is a 1911 guru.

They have worked on my BE guns, US and European, for installations, repairs, and construction of parts and I have always been more than pleased.  I also think that their prices are very fair and certainly competitive.

They do general repair and custom gunsmithing and are authorized repair trained for Beretta, Colt, Glock, Ruger, SIG, S&W, & Remington.

Sandy might be called a bit hard to deal with sometimes but he a heart as big as the great outdoors and will treat you right.

Sandy once did a trigger job on a Colt Trooper (old one with a Python action) for me.  It is without a doubt the sweetest trigger I've ever pulled.

Way back in the early 80's, while Robby was still growing up, Sandy built my hardball 1911.  Not only did I go Distinguished, Presidents 100, and Elihu Root Gold Medal with it, a couple of my friends used it to become Distinguished.  It still shoots lights out.
