Expander is preferred. Even for other than Remmy.

I've always just belled the mouth slightly, since I'm using a Star Machine Works press. Never had a problem.

with these being .360, when you seat and crimp doesn't that squeeze the .360 down to a less diameter ? Or does the thinner case allow then to stay .360 ?
I think I maybe missing something in the reloading process.

I had a larger diameter expander made to accomodate the .360" diameter Remington HBWC's.

I think it's more about squeezing the guts ( lube) out into your seating and crimp dies.

Is the Hornady PTX die considered an expander ?

I picked up a PTX and it was easy to setup and works great. I loaded 100 rounds with it so far.

I spoke too soon, the PTX works great with .357 bullets but does not expand enough for the Remington bullets which are .360.
Where can I order a larger expander ?
