Those with a aimpoint 9000 sc. question

for those that use a 9000 sc do you have some type of lens shield or sun shade?  If so, where did you get it and what did you get?  Or do you leave it as is and if it’s raining at say Perry you just let it get wet.

I wonder if I could market my front extension tube I made in the hut the morning of .22 match while it was pouring rain?  It was made out of a paper towel roll, black gorilla tape and a zip tie.  Any takers?
