Possible DR Pistol
I know that S&W is the preferred revolver for DR but I came across something today that I would like opinions on. I came across a Ruger GP100 with 5" barrel and partridge front sight. According to the guy in the gun shop it is a Lipsey's Distribution special. I know I can buy a S&W used for about the same price as the Ruger is new. The thing about buying used is you just never know what you might be getting into, of course the same can be said about new. I have been looking for over a year in my area but just haven't been able to find any S&W's that were not way over priced. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Everyone has a pistol they purchased under unusual (not illegal ) circumstances. One of mine was a stainless 5" Gp-100.Chris Miceli wrote:pistol good to go.
$150 and it is one of the best shooting revolvers I own. The weight buffers the hot stuff, and the 38 spec are like rimfires.
One of my favorites.
