Tuning High Standard Magazines
Which magazine tuning tool do you prefer for adjusting the lips on a High Standard Magazine? I have the silver one with one slot for gripping and the other end is used as a starting reference. It can be purchased on Amazon or EBay and it does a fair job. I just purchase a "new in the box" Hamden magazine and it will probably require some adjustment.
Looking for input on the best options.

Re: Tuning High Standard Magazines
I have the one jglenn uses and the instructions that come with it are spot on for the info you need. I have 4 thick metal magazines I've aquired over the last 5 years and they do stay in adjustment a lot longer than the others. I take em apart and clean them about every year with Eds Red then wash them with Dawn detergent and hot water blow dry with the compressor, then spray em with CLP inside and out then reassemble. Never a problem with feeding ever.

The tool you have purchased does a fine job.
The rear lips are for elevation of the round and the front lips are for steering the round left and right.

Thank you for your input, it's been helpful. It looks like the style tool I have is good. I had seen a few different style tools from different vendors and was just wondering if any particular one was better, so I thought I would ask some folks with a lot more experience than I've got.

The two stepped areas on the opposite end of the slot are your base dimensions for each pair of feed lips. They should be parallel and at the minimum as wide as the tool.
