Of course, the main stream media not knowing the difference, calls ammo "bullets".   Have been watching the price of commodities (brass and lead) go up, up, and up over the past 6 month, so this was bound to happen.

The best prices I've seen for ammo just started a few weeks ago. Prices of .22lr SV ammo has been the lowest ever, just in the last few weeks.

I agree, prices are real good - now.   Once the retailers dump their stock however...

While commodity prices are a part of the equation supply and demand are a bigger issue.  Right now there is not a lot of fear that the political climate will affect buying patterns but that can change and if people start stockpiling again that will force prices up faster than raw material prices.

While that is true and what we have been experiencing in past years, the exact opposite can have a similar result of high prices.   When you have reduced demand and high commodity prices, businesses will raise their prices.   They are going to make a profit no matter what.

Can't disagree with Don, the ammo companies are in this business to make money.

I gotta tellya, .355 and .356 HAP's are outta sight.  Supply and demand, especially .356's.  Just ordered 500 125gr .356's from Midway above 18 cents a round shipped.  Midsouth and others are out of stock except for quantities of 100.  I hesitate to order Zero's as i'm getting great results from HAP's.

If you like the HAPS get some XTPs. They have always shot better for me.   The zero/Magnus 115s are also very good

Thanks for the tip Jim.  I'm still evaluating 115 HAP vs. 125.  I won't order a large quantity of either until I settle on the better of the 2 at 50 yds.  They are essentially equal at 25 yds.  I've still got a few hundred 115's from an order of 3000 last year but my 100 125's are nearly depleted.  Everyone has the 115's but the 125's are pretty scarce online.
