I’m looking to purchase another dot scope. I was resenty looking  at the HD-micro. Is there anyone out there using that sight?  If so, I would like to know you review on the HD-Micro.  Also  are you using a slide  mount or frame mount.

if you do some searching you'll find a few topics on failures. I don't own one and never have/will. Probably better off on a full size dot like the 1" and 30" unless its an aimpoint.

I had a HD-Micro on a Nelson conversion, it's now sitting in my gun safe unused, I replaced it with an H1 with tubes.  It was OK but the dot was not round.

Don't know if things have changed, but when they were first released a few years ago the dot wasn't centered on the base.  Poor design in my opinion.

I really liked the 2 HDM's I had except they would not hold zero and caused 10 rounds to cluster in 2 groups with the same handloads on the same targets after 1000 rounds.  It seems the internals are under-designed although UD never gave me a failure analysis statement.  They did send me a new one after the first failure and offered me a new one after the 2nd failure, which I declined.  They then offered me a new 30mm Matchdot 2 which I took and am now evaluating between frigid temps.  I'd steer clear of the Micro until UD establishes the failure mechanism and corrects it.  FWIW.  By the way, they are very good with customer service.

Thank you everyone who responded. I made up my mind not to go with that model.
