Hornady AP
Ok so I have a Hornady Lock and Load. I have been cleaning and depriming some 45 acp. The shell plate bolt keeps working itself loose after about 30 to 40 rotations. Am i missing something here? any hints as to solve this problem don't really want to use locktite on it.

Thought about that but was thinking it might interfere with the system but it does nothing but hold the plate. should work.

I did it. Works fine. There are a bunch of YouTube videos on how to fine tune the Hornady. Also, In-line Fabrication makes a bunch of useful accessories. I have their handle, bullet bin and primer alarm.
Alll in all, I’m happy with my Hornady. Once it’s properly adjusted you can really pump out quality ammo.

I have two of them and really like both. The shell plate Allen bolt loosen on occasion but I just snug it up and keep going. Great press.
