High Standard Grips ? ? ? Empty High Standard Grips ? ? ?

Anyone recognize these grips?  Bought them from an estate sale on ebay and they didn't know anything about them.

I really like them and would like another pair.

Not so sure. Look like Nationals except left thumb rest is pretty LARGE to be Herrett. Maybe an earlier Herrett model?

thanks for the responses,

I was just about to comment on that very thing.

On my grip, the thumb rest goes up and towards the muzzle but never reaches "parallel" with the barrel.  It is pointing just a little bit up.

On the Herrett web page (and the bullseyepistol page) , it looks to me as if the thumb rest reaches "parallel" to the barrel and then even starts to slope back downwards.  Of course, on their web page they only show the grips on a 1911 so I don't know how they look on a Victor.  I sent an email to them questioning what their current production looks like to be sure.  I'm waiting.

And the way mine is made is absolutely perfect for me so I want the same thing.

Bullseyepistol is out of stock too.  I left my email address to be contacted when they are back in stock.

They do have a new set of Herretts on E-bay. A little more money but available. They also had these... I know what set I would get if they fit.

They do look good but not even close to being large enough.  I just happened on to the ones I bought on ebay and luckily they fit perfect.  I don't even know if Moroni makes extra large grips.

I've sold a few pairs of Herretts over the years on Ebay, and have a set for one of my High Standards and 1911's but not seen one with a thumb rest like that,
wonder if that panel was custom done??

I have a set on a HS Olympic space gun that are similar, but plastic, (marked Sile, I think, ) that are just 50's 60's cheesy plastic retro goodness as far as looks,
and fit me well to boot
