CZ 97B for EIC Service Pistol--some questions
Hi guys,
I'd like to try the EIC Service Pistol and the only gun I have on hand that is on the list is the CZ97B. I've had it worked over by Cajun Gun Works. I got a 2" group at 50 yards off of sand bags with Zero lead SWC. But, I have not tried jacketed bullets.
Anyway, I can send it back to Cajun Gun Works to increase the trigger pull weight. I think the after market sights and hammer are OK per the rules. But, I'm not sure about the aftermarket trigger. Since there's no mention in the rules about this I assume it would have to return to a stock trigger???
Is there anything else that I would need to have changed out?
Here's a link to the rules.

Please see page 38 for Approved Service Pistol Modifications.
Thank you for the advice.

You can change out the trigger. That would not be a problem. See 4.2.2 (b). As you stated, it just needs to be able to pick up four pounds, for the trigger weight. The new sights look good.
As much as I am not happy with the latest rule revisions, you can shoot metal plated bullets, as well as jacketed.

OK, great. I didn't read the rule properly. So, it sounds like I can keep the trigger and the only thing I need to do in have the trigger weight increased.
Thanks a lot,
Dave

2" groups at 50 yards are pretty good, good luck with your shooting.

Thanks, unfortunately not all the groups were 2". But, I'd be curious to see what it will do with a red dot.
