Star 185 Gr JHP
I was moving stuff around in my reloading room this evening and came across 500 of these old Star bullets. These are not the typical swaged lead but a JHP. They kind of look like a 230 gr fmj but with a really deep hollow point. They are in the center of the picture between a 230 fmj and a Zero 185 jhp.
Has anybody used these and if so what kind of results did you get? I was thinking of trying them for hardball loads but I'd like to hear of some real world experience.
Thanks in advance.
John

The Star bullet you have pictured is the earlier version. Shortly before Star went out of business they modified the design.
