Loadmaster Bullet Feeder position tweaking - Advice or suggestions?
I'm using a Lee Load Master press for reloading 45 ammo with Zero 200gr swaged LSWC bullets and Starline brass. It works great, and makes very good, consistent ammo. I'm also using the Lee Bullet Feeder. It works fine for the most part (grabbing the bullet, pulling it out from under the stack, holding it until the case gets there, etc.), but it's usually about half a millimeter "off", relative to the case mouth. I use my left hand to push lightly on the back end of the bullet feeder to get it into the right position, and then it all works fine, but having to do that is not ideal. I can't see a good way to "adjust" it or "tweak" it so that it centers the bullet over the case mouth more precisely, so I'm wondering if anyone else has had, and solved, this issue.
I have found that keeping the case retainer tight at the bullet seating station helps. I have also found that arranging the components on the bottom of the bullet feeder rod as Lee suggests, with the plastic nut below the plate and the spring and metal nut above the plate (which is not what some others suggest) also helps. But it's still just a little bit off. Any advice or suggestions on how to adjust/tweak it?
My first thought is to take a file to the feed fingers and see if that helps. My second thought is to put a small lump of JB Weld on the bullet feeder body to adjust the aim of the feed fingers. But I thought I'd ask before I start modifying parts (even cheap, easily replaceable ones).
Thanks,
Dave
P.S. Please, do not respond with "get a Dillon" or "don't use the bullet feeder" or complaints about unrelated issues with the Load Master... that doesn't help anyone. If you don't have something meaningful to contribute about this specific issue, just skip to the next thread. Thank you.

I like your JB weld idea. I've used it to solve a lot of problems. Just make sure the smooth plastic surface is roughened up first and apply an oversize blob of JB. It can be easily be filed down to just where you need it to be.
BTW, I gave up on my Lee bullet feeder and sent it back. My opinion is it's just too flimsy to be reliable. The plastic fingers gave me fits, but if you can get yours to work then good on you.

I inherited a Lee Load Master from my mentor many years ago. Loaded very good ammunition. Actually have seen repeated 7/8” groups at 50 yds from Ammunition loaded on this press. He had tried the bullet feeder and could never get it to work reliably. So good luck
