Dillon XL 650 bullet feeder
Just picked up a 650 with case feeder and want a bullet feeder. I plan to only load 45acp 185 jhp. I found the Mr bullet feeder and gsi. Anyone have experience with either ?? Recommend one?

This guy has bunches of videos on loading with bullet feeders including "Franken" systems where he mixes Hornady and RCBS presses and bullet feeders. Not all feeders will work with cast or lead bullets.

Re: Dillon XL 650 bullet feeder
I have a MrBullet Feeder, it works great with jacketed ammo With lead you have to clean it frequently due to the wax build up. So for lead I don't use the collator, I just drop the lead down the bullet feeder tube and I can load just as fast as using the collator.
The mini bullet feeder looks interesting too.

Re: Dillon XL 650 bullet feeder
I have a DIY bullet feeder from Austin Allred, these are no longer available. I use it for all of my coated bullets, whether they are hi-tek or copper.
For lead, I use the Lee Multi Tube bullet feeder
Along with the Bully Adapter
Mounted on a Hornady Bullet feed die.
The multi tube feeder holds 100 185 gr SWCHP.
This works well on my progressive. You might say, what's wrong with just manually loading each bullet?
I load the tubes, go wash my hands to remove the wax and lead. Ready to go for another 100 rounds on the progressive.
This is my first post, so I can't insert links

Re: Dillon XL 650 bullet feeder
I just started using the Mr Bulletfeeder Jr, i haven't used the revolving tubes or a DIY tube extension but just by using the die it makes a difference in loading speed and no more worries about catching sharp edges of the case mouth with your fingers. The .38 version holds about 5ea 158gr round nose bullets, absolutely no issues running it. (Dillon xl650)
