pistol cant with red dot?
It seems that when I raise the gun and look at my blank wall (per Ed Hall) my pistol is canted just a little to the left. I'm a right handed shooter. I've been twisting the gun back to vertical, but the slight cant seems more comfortable to me. Is a slight cant a bad habit that should be corrected or not a problem for red dot shooters?
Thanks,
Kim

If you have a natural cant shoot it. Just know if you need to move the shot placement it I’ll be a windage and elevation to get where you want

If you have a natural cant then don't fight it. If you are using a dot, you can actually turn the tube to match your cant so your adjustments will be accurate.
A few years ago I bought a Victor off of GB from a gun store. There was a note in the description saying they weren't sure if the dot was reliable which I disregarded. When I received the gun, I see what they were talking about. The tube had been turned almost 45 degrees so I think they thought it was defective. My guess is that the bullseye shooter that had it, was using a canted grip.
Good luck.

I use a cant when I shoot weak hand but not strong hand or two hands...and yes...you need to adjust your POA. A cant is actually a more natural and stronger position for a shooter. Can help with recoil.

Can't hurt. Do you have room to raise your head and be more erect with the upper back and shoulder. Muscles that do that might make you more stable.
