Unless you're set on cast, Zero swaged. I like Bob's bullets as well for cast.

That's a lot of choices ! Looking for best bullets for 25 and 50 yard loads with 231 or BE powder. I guess I have to try several

+ 1 for the Zero 200gr SWC swaged . Shoots very good in my guns with 3.8 BE or 3.6 N-310 . They also have a 185gr SWCHP ( like the old Stars ) that I've yet to try . The old Star 185 SWCHP also shot well in same guns with 3.9 BE . Cast 200 H&G 68 with 4.2 BE long & 3.5 BE short also shot well . I don't care for Missouri Bullets too hard an alloy & lube leaves much to be desired .

+1 for the Zero Swaged 200gr LSWC. I've tried Summers Enterprises, and Magnus, and Missouri, and CJN (and a couple others I don't recall at the moment), with no real problems from any of them, but I like the lube on the Zero's the best. It stays in place (doesn't chip off), and isn't too messy when reloading. It is a bit sticky, but I think it's worth that trade-off (I find that wearing nitrile gloves when handling the bullets helps). And the accuracy with them is top-notch. I load them into Starline brass over 3.9gr of Bullseye.

Another + for Magnus.

Terry Labbe will answer. You couldn't find a nicer person to work with, and his bullets are excellent.
He's also a great person to talk to about any questions you've got.
Ever since I found him, he is the only person I'm buying bullets from.
He's also a member here, and keeps up on the discussions.

I have been very happy with Bayou bullets coated lead SWC's in 185 grain, they have 200's as well.

I use T&B here in Oregon for my 200/185 L-SWC and Magnus or Zero for everything else Bullseye.

Zero or Magnus (I prefer Zero just a bit), Precision Bullets, and Precision Delta.
For cast bullets, I like mastercastbullets.com and Missouri bullets.

Re: Best source for lead/cast 200 SWC. bullets
I shot "Lasercast" for a few yrs but that was when the cost was considerably less than it is today. A few yrs back they would give you 6K for the price of 5K & free shipping. About a yr ago they went to free shipping but no more 6K for 5K. Now I'm looking at either the H&G#130 from "Mastercast.com" or Magnus's # 801. I damn sure miss Dardas bullets though. Matt's Bullets down in the Ozarks has what appears to be a variation of the H&G#130 but very seriously pricey and what theyn show does not appear to be the Saeco # 130 mold, which is what they claim.GerhardG wrote:Lasercast has my vote
