Dave Salyer
David C. Salyer Snr.
I needed someone to work on my S&W Model 52 and the forum pointed me in his direction. Wobbly kindly provided some contact details, but, unfortunately, they are out of date.
Do not use this address or phone number:-
755 Tysons Forest Dr
Rock Hill, SC 29732
Phone: (803) 327-6902 (This is a private number and should not be used for gun related business)
Dave's current address is:-
1947 Greenfield Dr
Rock Hill SC 29732
I had his correct number, but now I can't seem to find it. He can easily be contacted by email:-
salyer@comporium.net
Dave is taking in more work, but, like all of the good gunsmiths, he has a lot of work in hand so everyone must be patient
He asked me to post this as he does not spend much time on the forums.

Re: Dave Salyer
Dave is a great guy! I shot with him for years at Mid-Carolina in Columbia, SC.
He's also a great shot. He won many of the monthly shoots, despite shooting against the SC Guard Team under Lt. Col. Binnecker.
He told me his Colt 1911 had about 200,000 rounds theough it.
One of his big projects at the time was bulding 1911s in 30 Luger for CF. If I remember, Bar-Sto was in the loop to make the barrels, but bailed out.
