Lubing Semi Wad Cutters
I have a bottle of Alox bullet lube. It looks like brown mud. It has the consistency of a gel. Obviously it has to be thinned. Do I use mineral spirits? What is the correct procedure from start to finish? I have a few thousand Star LSWCHP's. I have heard of thinning the Alox then putting it and bullets in a baggie, mixing around then letting dry on wax paper. Seems like getting lube inside the hollow point would have adverse effect. I need a little advise. Thanks.

you can warm it up or add about 10% of mineral spirits to thin it a bit..
45-45-10 is really the way to go.. NP with a bit of it in the HP...if you get a lot then you are using too much of the mixture when you tumble

+1 on 45-45-10

no affiliation, just a good product
I use the method on the link:
45-45-10 is a great tumble lube. It goes on easy, leaves a smooth dry finish and dries in just 1 night.
Just put your cast bullets into a clean plastic tub (I use a coffee can), drizzle a small amount of lube over them and swirl around until all of the bullets are coated.
They should all be wet with just a little brown on them.
Then pour them onto a piece of wax paper and let them dry over night.
