Weaver makes a nice 1" horizontally split ring. Walmart carries it in the store. Less than $10

Christian,
Did your Kart come with the grooved rib? Mine from about 1983 has straight side rib. I would love to have that done to make scope mounting easy. I don't want to drill holes if there is any way around that.

Karts never had a factory optic shroud to my knowledge. Old school was removing the shroud and putting a weaver base directly on the barrel. Dworak made the shroud for the optic most likely.

Hi, i found this 5" Kart unit the past year on Ebay, was accurized By Don Nygord. Dont know if was fred Kart or Nygord but Apparently the conversion was cut to convert in 5". The chamber accept geco, cci and aguila, apparently was modified in difference of my like new or never fired 6" KART and the Rib was cutted for positive extraction. I like a lot The Karts!djperry2 wrote:Christian,
