M 52 S&W load using WST
I use 2.7 gr of WST for .38 spl 148gr HBWC loads seated flush with neck in a revolver. A friend asked me load some WC for him for his M 52. Does anyone know if the 2.7 WST load will run in a M 52?
Too hot, too soft or just right? I really don't need to know about other powders, bullets, primers or cases, just if anyone knows, will 2.7gr WST work in a M 52. Thanks in advance.

I use 2.7g WST and it runs perfectly with an Aimpoint H2 red dot mounted to the rear sight dovetail. Below 45 degrees it slows down a bit and I need more powder (or I could take off the red dot).

Thank you all who responded. It appears that I have sufficient historical experience from you that 2.7 - 2.8 WST load should work in a M 52.

And it has low recoil with about 730 fps.
Less yaw at long line, no bulge either

These guys also sell Nills. Quite a few in stock but no 1911 or 52's. They have a sizing chart you can check out.
