First topic message reminder :

I am thinking of writing or funding an iphone app that integrates lane commands with a visual countdown timer.

Basically, you would hit the "Timed Fire" button and the Timed Fire Range commands would be spoken, there would be a beep, and then a countdown timer is visible on the phone. When it hits zero, another beep. There would be a slow fire and rapid fire button as well.

My plan would be to have this as a free app for Apple iOS products. Is anyone interested in this, or is it just me?

Let me know before I waste time/money doing this.

Best,
dsd

Let me add my thanks for a fabulous training tool. I have already gotten a ton of use out of it.

Question for ddivens, in version 2 you added the 1thru 5 second drills. I was wondering what the drills are for? I'm fairly new to the game and I just don't know what I should be using these for. I love the App. Used it tonight in fact during a practice session.

Just to add another vote of thanks here. I was using the 2 second drills from Anatoli's version over the weekend. Not only is it great training in a vital part of the art - it really saves ammo. A whole hour of focused practice for a single box of 22. Smile

David,
As a "windows phone" user, my only option to use your app is my Ipod touch. When I try to download your app, it says it's not compatible with Ipod touch. Is there a way to make it work for me(and anybody else who wants to use Ipod for your app?)

What version of iOS does your ipod run? It should work with iOS 4.3 and higher. Can you make sure you have the latest code installed. PM me and we can work through this.

Thanks,

I just tested on a 3rd Generation iPod touch running 5.1.1 and the app works fine. The Model Number is MC008LL. What is your rev and model number?

Lame. I tried to update the OS and iTunes says 4.2.1 is the current version for my device. Apparently this is how apple makes sure you don't go too long before you buy more of their products....

I'm sorry if I am misunderstanding your question. The app is already available for Android and iPhone.

Let me know if you need assistance.
