CMP Eley standard vel. bulk
I ordered a case of the Eley bulk Standard velocity
from CMP on Oct.13th.
It was delivered today.
Hopefully it will function acceptable in my Pardini BE.
A pistol team member has been using it with good results
but in a High Standard.
I will be testing later today.

I picked some of this up recently and I have run it through several pistols over the past few weekends. It is running fine and displays very good accuracy at 25 yds. I am very impressed with it. For me, it is acting like the old CCI SV. I think it will be perfect for practice.
Have not yet tested it at 50 yds.

So far so good
I got received my10K limit last week, I've only had time to run 200 rounds each through my Pardini SP, Marvel Unit 1 and my Hamerli 215 and the function seems the same as CC1 SV. I had no alibis and the accuracy was fine at 50 ft. I have not got outside to test on the Short or Long line due to the weather.
Back when CCI was in stock everywhere I did not even think of using it because a master shooter next to me had numerous (at least six) alibis shooting a match with his Pardini SP with it and he told me he had to bend the front lip on his magazines to get it to function out of the box. I'm happy to report that I had no such problem with my Pardini SP which is my match 22. I still have to test it in my Benelli MP 90 and run 1K through all to get a final feel for it.

What’s the trick to ordering more than the 2 case limit?

Re: CMP Eley standard vel. bulk
I have one case now and another on order.
Have run one brick through my Pardini SP. It is great stuff.
Save your boxes from your old ammo, I find the bulk pack to be a pain. That's my only downside.
"CraigB5940 a master shooter next to me had numerous (at least six) alibis shooting a match with his Pardini SP with it and he told me he had to bend the front lip on his magazines to get it to function out of the box. "
I have had no problems with it feeding in my Pardini SP. Load the mags, shoot at will, perfect. Not a misfire, not a squib, not a jam. Have only shot 500 rounds, but I think that's a decent test.

Re: CMP Eley standard vel. bulk
I shot it tonight and although I have not been shooting great lately I managed a 96 8x (two 8s) , good ammo for sure and ran like a dream out of my Ruger MK IV which is fickle with CCI, 99.5% with Aguilla and great with Geco and Fiocchia.

Re: CMP Eley standard vel. bulk
The ammo is accurate at 50 yards from my AW93. However, I get an occasional light strike - about 1 in 100-150 - the round always goes off on the second strike. I don't get that with any other ammo I use. The pistol is dead reliable with CCI SV, SK Pistol Match, GECO. So, for me, this is a great training ammo, but I can't use it in a match.
This is just another evidence that each .22 pistol may have its own ammo preferences. Therefore, you need to test each ammo in your particular pistol.

Re: CMP Eley standard vel. bulk
Oleg,
While you are correct that each pistol likes what it likes the other issue is the ammo we use can be inconsistent.
This has shown up over and over recently with the CCI blue box SV.
It was go to ammo for many until about a year ago and then was big trouble due to excessive wax lube.
CCI was replacing cases of the ammo so they knew there was an issue.
I'm sure high dollar RWS and Eley are as consistent as possible but not many of us can afford to shoot it.
If the round goes bang when the trigger is pulled I feel accuracy will be acceptable for 99% of us with most ammo.

Re: CMP Eley standard vel. bulk
I received a case of the CMP Eley last Saturday, fired about 300 rounds through two Buck Marks and found it to be accurate and reliable. I still need to use it in S&W 41s, 1911 with Marvel conversion and other rimfire pistols and rifles. I found it to be more accurate than CCI SV, and more reliable. I ordered another case last night.

Re: CMP Eley standard vel. bulk
It sounds like it takes about a month for it to arrive. I ordered a case of rimfire on November 9 and I haven't received any notification that it shipped out. Hopefully the ammo panic situation hasn't dried up their supply.

Re: CMP Eley standard vel. bulk
It's pretty good despite being bulk. I shot a 194-4x slow fire match at 50 yards with it tonight, and I'm rusty (I haven't shot any bullseye in more than two months).
In the BeforeTimes, I shot this ammo to "win" the Indoor Sectional in 2018. "Win" is in quotation marks because so far I only have a PDF to prove it.

I ordered on Nov 2 and there were 99 cases in stock.
It arrived today, which is sooner that I had anticipated!
Now I can run some through the Marvel this weekend and check it out.

Re: CMP Eley standard vel. bulk
It arrived via fedex today and although the text I got yesterday said signature required, it didn't require signature. So it took exactly 30 days from the day I ordered.
