That’s no joke...my wife’s hair dresser asked her “doesn’t your husband reload”. Sue said, don’t even think about it...LenV wrote:My friends, family, neighbors found out I have ammo. I have a lot more of all of them then I remember.

Ammo prices going the way they are has me wondering, is the LGS paying more for their shipments or just the end user.
22LR prices are through the roof, but I have to have them.

I’m seeing about an average of $78 a brick for standard velocity. It’s a crime yes but if you need it to compete you do it. Just buy as much as you can. The phrase “by once cry once” is very apropos. I see no price reductions in the future.

Re: Ammo prices through the roof.--rip off. $5 a shell
The shooting community did this to themselves. Where is the realistic reason to purchase so much more ammo and guns all of a sudden and hoard it? Seriously.. the prices didn’t go up until there was a rash demand for it. I don’t like the political situation we’re in anymore than you all do I’m assuming but dang guys. As soon as people panicked shit hit the fan. This happens every election year. It’s ridiculous. Are we going to lose our guns? I highly HIGHLY doubt it. They might try but it won’t work. If you want to figure out why Ammo is scarce and priced outrageously look at the prepers and the ones thinking they’re getting ready for civil war. Geez .. the gun shop will price it higher and higher until it stops selling.

Yikes I just saw on GB 5000 rounds of Aguila super extra starting bid $1700. That is more than twice the price I paid for 5000 rounds 10 days ago. And I cried paying that price.

Not too sure about that but last year in March I bought 5000 rounds of Aguila special extra for $277.99 including shipping.
