This interview turned out to be a lot longer than I anticipated. Grab a snack and a soda settle in for this interview.

Re: 25 Questions with Jim Henderson
A very good interview. I really liked hearing Mr. Henderson describe the 2015 Fort Benning World Cup for him as I was in the Finals audience for it.
Famous shooters and coaches in the stands. I spotted Ray Arredondo a few seats above me which made my day. Someone had a huge ratchet noisemaker they spun a few times to make noise and I think someone in fatigues quietly suggested that they would perform a magic trick and make the large ratchet noisemaker disappear and the noisemaker guy sat down.

That is a great interview, and educational also. I didn't know he wore so many hat's, and a great coach too.TargetPistolGuy wrote:This interview turned out to be a lot longer than I anticipated. Grab a snack and a soda settle in for this interview.

Hendo is awesome. Perhaps the Rodney Dangerfield of elite shooters. I think he has won the Presidents 100 8 or 9 times, and a member of the 2670 Club. He is also, one helluva nice helpful guy.

Really glad to see Bullseye Youtube content. I opened an account just to subscribe, never wanted to do that before. Keep up the great work.
Hopefully you can catch up with Bickar at Canton sometime.

Pretty sure he's put his name on my dad's memorial trophy once or twice in the last 25 years. He's certainly won much bigger matches, and worth a listen.
That said, he's old, bald, and ugly, and he dresses funny

I meant Jim. I don't know TargetPistolGuy, but he seems less old, bald, and ugly than Jim.

Re: 25 Questions with Jim Henderson
Update: I was concerned that I might have been incorrect in my characterization of an esteemed member of the Bullseye community. Someone who has won multiple National Pistol Championships; many, many President's Pistol trophies; and won the NTI more than a few times.
But good news! I talked to Jim, and he's still old, bald, and ugly.

Illustrating why you need to be interviewed. Preferably after the BBQ/BEER garden at Canton.john bickar wrote:robert84010 wrote:Hopefully you can catch up with Bickar at Canton sometime.

Re: 25 Questions with Jim Henderson
For the sarcasm-impaired, Jim's advice is well worth listening to.
Jim Henderson has done more for the shooting sports (and specifically the pistol shooting sports) over the last few years than anyone I know.

Jim's not in that clique; he's too elite.
I roll with the crusty old Ohio guys that tell you to "get yer X-count up".

Re: 25 Questions with Jim Henderson
I watched the video all the way through. Very well done.
Jim could've said "Canton" as his favorite place to shoot, but I'll accept Munich.
Thanks for doing this. It puts shooting (and particularly pistol shooting) in a positive light.
