Drop die Should be just fine, don't worry.

Got nickle, use nickle, it frequently cracks sooner though.

TC or roll, your choice as long as it's separate from seating you'll never have an issue

Having trouble with 38 hbwc? - Page 2 Dfc2f810The above two photos show a Rapid two shot drill target shot with my 52.  The bullets were Bear Creek swaged DEWC and I can’t tell the difference between these and HBWC.  Nor can I tell the difference between my 38 scores and my 22 scores, mores the pity. Charge was 2.8 BE.  The second is a picture of a box of cases of Remington Match Wadcutters showing that the companies DID load match WC in nickled cases.  

Oh, and the above reloads were seated and roll crimped at the same time.

I haven’t shot cast too often but I have some.  If these swaged DEWC are any indication, the cast should be fine for training and practice.
