Zero 200 Grain Swaged SWC
Usually shoot Magnus cast bullets here. Terry is REALLY backed up these days. Ordered 2000 swaged lead SWCs from zero... Federal primer, a smidgen of bullseye and we aren't missing much here.. Shot 10 rounds sustained fire at 25 yards and another set at 25 slow fire. Still love those Magnus bullets but nothing to worry about...

Aren't the Zero swaged #68's just reboxed Magnus bullets anyway?

I found only one bullet beats Zero 200gn swaged--my own cast and quality controlled rcbs 45-201-kt ( now swc at end). Hard to beat swaged for precision weight and dimensions.

Are the Zero 185gr SWCHP supposed to be the same profile as the 200gr SWC ?

They are very close. The SWCHP is a bit (0.020") shorter at the nose.hengehold wrote:Are the Zero 185gr SWCHP supposed to be the same profile as the 200gr SWC ?

The 185 swchp and 200 swc have the same length bearing surface, but as Chris said, the nose is a slightly different profile. My loads are the same for both, and I can interchange them since I seat off the shoulder. At the same powder weight and crimp, I imagine the 185's fly a little faster.

Have a look at SNS Casting. They have a 200gr lubed SWC that I like more than Zero, much cleaner. Zeros had lube all over them and fouled the dies and finished round had to be wiped down also.
I’ve used SNS no lube groove coated for several years and really like them.
