Springfield 35 for EIC?
This looks like it might have potential. Has anyone had much success with the Browning Hi-Power design?

Re: Springfield 35 for EIC?
The major issue is gunsmithing support. Cylinder and Slide Shop is one of the few that understands the BHP well enough in my opinion. There may be others, but with the BHP being out of production for sometime, there are fewer smiths out there. IMO the best 9mm for Bullseye is a 1911.
Don’t get me wrong, I have BHP and it’s a fine pistol and I like the fact that SA is bringing them back. But for bullseye, there are better.

Out of the box I would say the PPQ and CZ are better but I think that BHP looks real sexy.

Pinch the top of the web of your thumb as hard and as fast as you can with pliers until the feeling passes. Congratulations, you just saved $699.

it that much more attractive. ;-)
In all seriousness, the new hammer should help and, fortunately for me, my aluminum frame P35 with its spur hammer hasn’t bitten me (yet).

Apparently SA directly addressed the issue with a tang and hammer redesign.

Even the american rifleman magazine, perhaps the most un-critical reviewer possible, states it broke skin.Wobbley wrote:Apparently SA directly addressed the issue with a tang and hammer redesign.

I am going to assume it probably is a grip issue. If you shoot a 1911 with a GI safety with a spur hammer, it will bite if your grip is poor.Merick wrote:Even the american rifleman magazine, perhaps the most un-critical reviewer possible, states it broke skin.Wobbley wrote:Apparently SA directly addressed the issue with a tang and hammer redesign.
