Steyr LP50 scope mount
I'm sure that this has been discussed before - I ran a search - nothing. There is a thread on Target Talk and a link to the rail that is offered by Pilk Guns - OK, a bit pricey, but there is one solution.
Anyone know of a mount to suit Aimpoint pattern micro-tube red dot (like the Kodiak Machine mounts for a Pardini) that will fit directly on an LP50. I would prefer not to have to use the Pilk rail then a picatinney/weaver mount on the Aimpoint.

I have a modified Weaver base on my LP50. I’ll post pics later today.

Re: Steyr LP50 scope mount
Roy, call Pilkington's. I bought my LP50 used and it came with the scope mount. The original owner bought the pistol from Pilkington's, and if memory serves me well, he bought the scope mount from them.

The one from Steyr is perfect…and you don’t have to remove the mount shoot irons.

This may fit the bill:
https://www.krale.shop/us/weaver-rail-steyr-air-pistol/
Shipping is high, but really fast.

Re: Steyr LP50 scope mount
Thanks to the responders. But I am already aware of the mounts from Pilk and Steyr/Krale, etc., utilising Picatinney/Weaver slots on a rail/mount. Not really interested in any of those.
What I am looking for is a dedicated mount to attach an Aimpoint pattern sight directly to the mount and then to the LP50. Rather like the one that aimpoint offer to attach to Ruger Mk IV's.
If I cannot find a commercial mount I will probably try to fabricate something from Aluminum. It probably won't look pretty, but neither do I

Check with Kodiak and see if it is something they will pursue ... if they haven't already.

Very interesting - great minds think alike!
That is the kind of solution I am considering, but as an integral one piece mount. I have not even taken off the rear sight from my LP50 yet!
Don't tell me that is the Romeo 5 I sold to you?

No, I bought that with all of my own money! It’s been a good sight.

Re: Steyr LP50 scope mount
Like Wobbley, I too have modified weaver bases to mount both Ultra Dots and Burris FastFire sights on LP50s. The Weaver 63A has a groove on the bottom that matches the sight boss of the LP50 perfectly. It sits slightly lower than the barrel and the receiver area where the clips are inserted, so if you want the mount to extend over the barrel you'll have some machining to do.

If you want to fabricate your own look at Brownell stock
080-031-841WB
0.840" Diameter 3/8" Dovetail Stoc. $9.99
Grind bottom flat, cut to length, decide where you want the holes.
Get rings a Wallmart. air gun/22 by 1". a pair for $9
They come 3/8' and weaver mount, fit 1" 25mm. ultra dot
Take on and off many of my pistols never lose zero.

Re: Steyr LP50 scope mount
Rob22,
Thanks for the info, but I am not looking for a rail to mount a scope with rings.
I am looking for a way to mount an Aimpoint pattern red dot (H1, Romeo 5, Holosun, etc) directly to the gun without an intermediate Weaver rail and mount.
Totally different concept.
