Shooting Model 41 with a broken bolt pin?
So, just found out that the bolt pin on my S&W Model 41 broke during tonight's session. I only realized that when I got home. It's gonna take a while until I get a new one to replace it. Wondering if I can continue using it, what are the risks, etc. Thanks in advance!

Risks?
The problem will not get better. You're risking malfunctions at best, further damage to bolt or slide, improper headspace, firing g out of battery ... etc.
You also need to figure out what broke that pin in the first place. That's your real problem.

Can't order it from Brownell's - I'm in Canada and they won't ship Might be months to get it through the dealership. Not happy with my options and where this is heading...

Have you tried S&W directly? I just received one from them at no cost.

Taking the risk is not advisable. Getting a new one should be the next line of action

Yes, ordered through my Canadian S&W dealer. Not expensive, but will take a minimum of 4 weeks. Time to dust off my S&W Victory for the bullseye matches...

How about sending the order to me here in Florida and I'll re-send to you? Will that be faster from Brownell's or whoever? No charge for the service.

I think the risk is the block gets loose, ejectors and springs fall off
