Nelson “Bo-mar” Rail Empty Nelson “Bo-mar” Rail

I have a shooting buddy who has been complaining for years about wanting a rail with a square rear sight blade for his Nelson.
I picked up a Bo-mar rear sight, a Nelson optic rail and set to making it what it should have been. Rear sight overhanging slide and front sight as close to the front of the rail as possible to maximize sight radius. Front sight is dovetailed from the front. Rear sight is attached/buried with no visible dovetail/slot.
Perfect if you ask me!
Not planning on making any more….$$$$

You can order a Nelson with a square rear sight blade. What sight radius were you able to squeak out of it? The rear sight looks like a way nicer fit than on the Marvel rails.

7.260” sight radius. Good that they offer the square blade now.

Nice! You also forgot the best part of that particular rear sight blade, same screwdriver size as most ball guns.

This is gorgeous. Gorgeous and functional.

Kind of sad that it is a one off. When I get back to the States I’d like one for sure.
