Dave, thank you. I imagine a lot of what you wrote is available in your prior posts, but having a concise summary of issues that I am capable of controlling is super helpful.
This stuff is pure gold. I won’t waste it.

3 Bears powder solutions...not too much ( significant gun motion in firing or super tight grip needed) Not too little ( trigger induced motions throw the shot while bullet is in barrel)
Just right compromise...but you have to find it yourself, it's variable.
That's why you cant shoot a 45 like a 22 . You can't shoot ball like you shoot wadcutter. It's all in my book.

But if you shoot the wadcutter and the .22 with the grip and trigger control for a ball gun, you will get better with all 3.

I’ve seen Steve Reiter shoot more 890’s with 45 than his 22!
Gun motion and grip are not related. Gun motion/hold and trigger control are related.

They are some related. Borrow someone else's revolver and there will be an astonishing difference in vertical point of impact between you two, even with the same espoused sight picture.Jon Eulette wrote:Today’s watered down ball equals wad!bruce martindale wrote:3 Bears powder solutions...not too much ( significant gun motion in firing or super tight grip needed) Not too little ( trigger induced motions throw the shot while bullet is in barrel)

And everyone here knows that gripping too hard will induce severe random motion, a point which I have proved to myself many times over.
