Walther GSP-500
Greetings,
Watched several videos produced by Walther TV on YouTube.
GSP500 Link
Watch the video on cleaning/maintenance. They advocate wiping the pistol down with an oily rag. They insist you do not spray oil directly on the gun.
Also, a good discussion on cleaning the 22lr barrel properly.
Yes, it is an improved version of the Haemmerli SP-20; but, looks rather interesting.
It offers 22lr and 32 S&W Long swapping with the same receiver.
What was intriguing was that the rear sight is removable. You swap rear sights when changing calibers.
Best part is that it is not drilled and tapped for a "light", like the Haemmerli SP-20.
Unable to find a price in the USA; but, I suspect it will be quite dear.
Cheers,
Dave

Dave,
Any specific links to the "Cleaning and Maintenance" video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXImLOF-Wcg is a "Cleaning" video - in German.
FYI: Google has a "translate" feature for text, not sure who has an audio translate feature. Link to "translate" is https://www.google.com/search?q=translate+google&ei=uSnGYsLLEILB9AO5u5XoBA&oq=translate&gs_lcp=Cgdnd3Mtd2l6EAEYADIHCAAQRxCwAzIHCAAQRxCwAzIHCAAQRxCwAzIHCAAQRxCwAzIHCAAQRxCwAzIHCAAQRxCwAzIHCAAQRxCwAzIHCAAQRxCwA0oECEEYAEoECEYYAFAAWABg3hNoAXABeACAAQCIAQCSAQCYAQDIAQjAAQE&sclient=gws-wiz. (Sorry - that is the whole link I got after typing "translate" into Google.)

Well there's this...
https://buinger.com/Walther-Sportpistol-GSP500-22lr
As the Euro and dollar are pretty much equal looks like sales price is in the $2200 range so less than the pardini... Im on the list to get one when they arrive in the states...

Greetings,
On my computer running Windoze 10, the YouTube videos have an option to translate the CC to English.
Between the broken English translation and the hands on video I managed to learn quite a bit.
Cheers,
Dave

Re: Walther GSP-500
Looks promising. I happen to like the knobs on my AW93 and Steyr air pistols rear sights though. (Not a big point.)
Good to see so many videos made for the pistol. The grip looks promising.

Re: Walther GSP-500
Its a modernized GSP with some SSP like changes. I think they cancelled the SSP.
