Hi All,

I keep seeing people with copies of the Caswell error chart, the one one that says this shot was heeled, anticipated, pulled, thumbed, etc etc. You know the one l mean.

This thing is bad news folks; Throw it out! 

For one, there is a large combination of errors that can result in what they attribute to  a single incorrect factor.
Second, it has you focussed on what to do to get an error instead of what it takes to get a good shot.

There is a number of good public domain interpretations of the chart. Here's my favorite. Who made this original?

Mine is even more simplified, there's only "You suck" there.

The center part on mine says "You got lucky".

Someone posted that up on targettalk, I think by a user named “Rover”.  

If I recall, that version also had words outside the circle that said “Leave the Range”. 

“Keep doing that” is a very helpful cue to focus on what it feels like to shoot well.

It’s been around for 20 years or more.  They are not new.
