BME S&W52-RR scope mount
Does this mount effect function with Weaver low rings?
If not does anyone have one for sale?
Thanks

Re: BME S&W52-RR scope mount
The mount is effectively a frame mount and has no impact on function. My experience also is I am able to remove it entirely (with scope still attached of course), re-mount it and my zero is unaffected.

Re: BME S&W52-RR scope mount
S&W52-RR is a slide mount, not a frame mount. It looks like this:
I have one on my M52 and it works great. I also made one that is essentially the same, for my friend who would not wait till BME has it back in stock. Works just fine with standard 148gr wadcutter loads.

Sorry about the confusion in my response. Mine is the other BME model 52 mount.

Thanks JAVADUKE and others for thier replies.
With JAVADUKE picture enlarged I think he answered my question.
I used an OPTMA2000 until it failed. While ordering trigger from Don at DJ Precision
He asked if I bought it to shoot or put in safe I said shoot.
He suggested I put two #29 Weaver bases on and sent instructions and be careful
with front screws because of slide thickness.
That is the problem they will work loose even with red Locktite.
I think I have a model 41 base I can machine and use all four screw holes and make it
more stable with solid rail.
Sorry for long post.
Thanks Again
