NG scope mount
Took a little time today to start putting together a smaller indoor pistol box.
Opened up my new little NG scope and the thread size on the scope is not the standard 1/4" stuff like most tripod mounts.
How are you NG users attaching the scope to the adjustable arms ?

The scope has a female thread of like 3/8" size on the body of the scope. What is missing Chris ?

Typical Chinese quality control. I searched everywhere in the packaging.
Off to e-bay, more money, more time, more waiting.

To my understanding, it is not standard - if it came from a bullseye supply house they sometimes added it.

Re: NG scope mount
If you use a thread adapter to reduce the thread size from 3/8 to 1/4 get one made out of brass that has more threads than the one shown in the photo, the really cheap ones often break (having seen this as a professional photographer many times).

Every camera store and some big box stores have the adapters. Even the cheapest one has worked ok for me.

I took a short hex head bolt and drilled a hole on one face so a 3d or 4d finish nail would fit then added a few washers and had my replacement "knob".

Re: NG scope mount
Does anyone have a spare NG small scope they wish to sell ?
I just found out the telescoping tube mount that comes with these fit perfectly into a really cool mount on an old Pachmyer box I just got from an older shooter.
