A friend has a Clark heavy slide 1911 with a new Kart barrel chambered in 45. Comes with an Ultradot. What would be a fair price to pay for one of these? It’s on loan at the moment and I love the way it shoots.

That’s a hybrid gun now that the barrel was replaced.  So…..it’s a a bit less than a “Clark” now.  Most older guns like this demand 1500-2000.  So somewhere in there.

When I sent my Clark Heavy Slide into Clark for re-tuning, I requested a new Kart barrel and bushing. I wouldn't consider it a "hybrid" gun. Of course it depends upon the condition, but if it shoots accurately, functions well and the trigger is good for you, I'd say $1,800 would be in the ballpark.

I believe he sent it back to Clark for the rebarrel.

Thanks for the input so far! I was also thinking $1800 would be a fair price.

You might get $1800 depending on condition but probably closer to $1500 is more realistic. Just gotta see who is interested. I've seen nice Clark pistols for $1200 before. If you've got receipts of work done that may help with value.
