not tolong ago I read an article by a guy who advocated prelubing a revolver barrel before shooting lead in it.  for accuracy and reduced leading..

finding the use of hex boron nitride for competition rifle shooters and lock ease to be a "thing" on forums, to make the first shot "perfect" on a cold bore.

The article i read advocated the use of johnson paste wax.. i tried, not sure if it helped. But using speer HBWC sure made things cleaner.

What is the consensus on here revolver folks?

I remember when Moly was the big thing, but I've never heard of any of the stuff that you've mentioned.

Apparently, oil in the barrel will not cause your firearm to explode.
