After a long break from bullseye i have started back and have a maybe dumb question. After 6 weeks of shooting i find my slow fire groups always group just lower than timed and rapid groups .I do take my time for slow fire.Maybe too much time and dropping under the center trying to get a clean trigger break?Should i hold a little kentucky windage during Slow??I am shooting a borowwed Smith 41 and putting together a mk 4 with volquartsen barrel and accuracy kit.

What kind of sight are you using?  No such thing as too much time in Slow under 10 minutes. What average scores for each  Slow, Timed and Rapid?

Advise you to read Bruce Martindale's Bullseye book to brush up on Bullseye Shooting available here...

Follow through.
Bring your sights back on center before putting the firearm down.
Group should come back up.

"Coming back" with a 290 is ok, but what's your "X" count?

It was a 5 x I have never shot a 280 never mind 290 . I never got out of the sharpshooter class 30 years ago. But even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.!!
