Hi Tech coated 45 ACP 160s from H&G #242 Mold - where to buy
Any one have leads on where one can purchase Hi Tech coated lead 45 ACP 160s cast from H&G #242 Mold?
Used to get them from Brazos but they no longer sell them.

Brazos has listed several bullets as not for sale with this posted at bottom of the page.
It would be good to know for sure if/when this will be resolved.
This situation appears to impact about half of their lineup.
These are some of the best cast bullets around and I have always had great service from them.

Dear customers, due to supply chain issues we have been facing we are no longer producing this profile until we can fix the mold set. We will allow orders once we can meet the supply for this profile.

Are we to see another shortage/price increase in ammo? I noticed New Republic & Mag Tech 9's are gone from the "Target Ammo" web site I use.
I had planned to wait another CC cycle but hearing rumors and with a too vivid memory I ordered a case of bulk Rem 115's. They were @260 compared to $240.

Brazos was the only commercial vendor that produced the coated 242 bullet that I'm aware of.
The bullet presents some major issues with feeding in the automated star type sizers most use. The bullet is about the same length as width producing lots of jams. Brazos to their credit figured out how to get by that problem.

Used to be Bobs snd Dardas for 160s
I have a 4 cav H&G s242 that I picked up at Canton years ago. I have no trouble with my feeder on a Star sizer. I go nose down.

Bruce, are you using the Magma lube master's case feeder?

Most commercial casters are using magma equipment. It's their
Lubemaster rotary bullet feed that has issues with the 242

Your bullet feeder certainly looks like a Magna bullet feeder, but not the commercial version that's referenced above.
