What lube do you use? Anything new and Improved?

Gunzilla has worked pretty good for me.  It's light, so I reapply often.  I wonder, though, if there's something better.

I like the stuff from Pro Shot Products. Inexpensive, American made, and it doesn't seem to "gum up". I have had no malfunctions since I've been using it. A little goes a long way, and it seems to stay where I put it.

I like ezzox better

Saw some corrosion prevention tests over on rimfire central and while they did not have gunzilla, they had ezzox which performed the best.

I have been meaning to do some side by side test of gunzilla and ezzox but have not had a chance yet.

I use MPro7 on all my guns except on my wad gun I use Iosso Triple Action Oil.  It is what Travis Frerking, who built my gun, recommended.

Les Baer Custom finished bringing my wadcutter #1 back to snuff.  They said what I was using was gunking up my gun; said it was thier expert opinion (and I do admit they do see a few guns) that I use CLP from now on.  For what it's worth.

My experiences with CLP were positive in my wadcutter1911 and 22.  My 1911 hardball gun did not function well with it.   I use the red oil mix recipe provided by the NG MTU for all my center fiire paper punching guns.  My M41 does not like the red oil in cold weather so it gets CLP.  IMHO CLP makes a wonderful bore cleaner.

In retirement I've been working as RSO a few days a week in in indoor range.  Some of our guns see literally 1000s of rounds a week.  The small 22s choke and puke on bulk 22 ammo.  Recently went to tetra gun grease on them.  Followed the instructions on the tube.  The results have been very promising.   Had an odd hitch in a personal Kimber Ultra Carry+.  Put Tetragun grease on it and it became a 100% gun.
