Good time to find alternate loads too. Better to find them when you have time to work them up, that to have to rush the process.

I wonder if BE powder will go up now.  Someone is selling a canister(16lbs) of BE on CalGuns right now too!

Brass and heads not an availability problem. 
First the primers now the powder.
Another factor that will negatively impact Bullseye shooting and the shooting sports as a whole..
Newbies (and old shooters as well) being priced out of the sport.

Just ordered 8# of BE-86 from Grafs. They also have 8 pounders of B-eye in stock. Grab it while you can!

Shydas had Bullseye 8# jugs for $344 last week. Basically good for about 14,000+ rounds.

Aliiant makes the bulk of its money from selling powder to MILITARY, thus the massive jump in military contracts, they gotta screw the civilian market. 


I havent bought alliant powder in years. only seem to get good work with Red Dot and Green Dot.  

Alliant powders for PISTOL come up so rarely last few years it wasnt WORTH the time actively hunting for them.

Is this a permanent or temporary decision?

I've spent hours reading about this over the past month and don't understand this to be intentionally extended, but there are cost and availability pressures on the components to make the powder and demand incentives for them to make non-civilian powders that don't show near term end in sight.
