Cleaning Brass With SS Pins
First topic message reminder :
Well I did not mean to test the damage cleaning with stainless steel pins might have to the thin lips on 45ACP brass...but I did. :-)
Started at a little after 10:00AM today and forgot about it. Ran for over 5 hours! Case lips showed no evidence of wear or damage. On the plus side my brass came out brighter than new brass:-)

Re: Cleaning Brass With SS Pins
I'VE WATCHED THIS FOR A WHILE. I'VE HAD GOOD RESULTS WITH DAWN AND THE LEMI-SHINE. BUT IT WAS HIT AND MISS. I TRIED THE SIMPLE GREEN ARRGGG ! VERY CLEAN BUT I HATED THE RESULTS. THEY SEEMED TO CAST A HAZE AS TIME WENT BY. I HAVE A LOT OF WATER TREATMENT AT MY HOME, H2O2, SALT AND SUCH . I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE THAT. TRIED THE HOT VS. COLD WATER RINSE. SAME AS BEFORE. I WAS ABOUT TO GIVE UP. BUT TODAY I TRIED THE RAIN DANCE CAR WASH / WAX WITH LEMI-SHINE. WOW!! THAT'S WHAT I'VE SEEN OTHER PEOPLE GET. JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. THANKS GUYS. I'M THROUGH LOOKING.
