Best/cheapest Way to Get Only 100 Rds of Atlanta Arms 9mm?
I hear great things from all sources about Atlanta Arms ammo in all BE load offerings.
And I can't get a certain 9mm to group better than 7 inches at 50 yards with my 115 gr JHP reloads. Yup, I sort brass and this is with Hornady and Sierra bullets. Have even tried to tighten up the barrel to slide fit (which seemed to lock it pretty immobile in the first place anyway) with no discernible difference yet in performance. But I have identified one area of slop that my next accurizing tweak should correct.
So before I get myself wrapped up too tight in this accuracy quest I MUST isolate the ammo variable. Clean living and good grooming and great success loading precision rifle ammo does not change the possibility that my reloads just might suck.
I don't like online ordering unless I'm buying a big enough boatload to make the shipping costs drop to a reasonable percentage, but for this stage of the project I want only a hundred rounds. How do you suggest I go about trying to get a small lot like that without taking it in the shorts for shipping?

It might not be an ammo variable if the load shoots well in other firearms. Some, like the early s&w MP 9 suffered horrible accuracy from, alleged, early barrel unlatching. Maybe the twist is just wrong, try with 147 grains and see if you get improvement.

It seems like the best way would be to order a small amount from an individual that has some.
The barrel twist is significant for 9mm. They can be from 10 to 32 with most at 16.
