Quality shooting glasses
I have been looking for a better pair of shooting glasses. I think I'm looking for something more like prescription shooting glasses. No plastic stuff but nothing to expensive. What do you use, where did you get them and how much $.

I've had good luck with this place.
You can order lenses and frames. They do Rx and standard. They offer Polycarbonate lenses.

Is Polycarbonate the way to go?

Re: Quality shooting glasses
There was recent discussion that this may be related to the effects of astigmatism.
It helps provide eye protection though.
Hopefully, others will jump in here.

I use the Rudy Project glasses now. Spent way too much but they are distortion free.

Went to the optometrist, after a quick exam that was covered by my insurance. I was able to pick out a pair of ansi approved safety frames and quality lenses Zess/Nikon with several choices of coatings. $53 out the door.

Ditto re Decot. In my case, they spoke with my eye doctor directly and came up with an ideal set up. Maybe not the cheapest....

I bought my 1st pair in '01 and have used them since, daily wear and shooting. Got a nice set of frames last time @ Wal Mart. I really miss the sweat bar and hardly wear them.
