Ruger Magazine Spring
The mag springs on my daughter's 22/45 are crazy strong making it difficult for her to load. Has anyone ever tried cutting one off to make it a little weaker. I'm sure Ruger has a reason for them to be that strong but it seems excessive. If I had a third one laying around I would try it.

Re: Ruger Magazine Spring
Scott,
I swapped out the old mag springs on my MKII (not the 22/45) a few years back. I don't know if the 22/45 and MKII take the same one, but if they do you're welcome to my old ones. Pretty sure I still have them lying around somewhere, cuz I never throw nothing away.

If you find them I'd love to give them a try. Let me know if you find them and I'll send my info to you. Thanks a bunch, my daughter will appreciate it if this works!

I've been very happy with this speed loader. You need to disassemble and clean it about every 5000 rounds.
