ANYONE HAVE ONE OF THE OLDER MODEL SP 20 WITH WOOD GRIPS?

Nope, I have an older one with the plastic grips. As I understand it, the plastic grips (which included the magazine well and trigger guard) needed to be cut in a certain place to allow the wood grips to be mounted on these pistols.

Actually, this particular model was designed for replaceable wooden grips, not a frame modification to accept a wooden grip.

I built a set of grips for one of these a few years ago with a modified grip angle. I actually wouldn't mind getting one for my collection.
