Clean a Target... Show us!
Just thought we could all use some Positive Reinforcement so I made this a "sticky" which means its always at the top in this topic. So when you shoot a clean target and want to hoot a little post it here for all to see!
Here is what I did last night at our weekly indoor league, 50 ft on the NRA reduced target, shot Timed fire style in four strings of 5 shots, we hang two targets at a time. 100 6x and a 100 7x this was a first for me to clean two in the same set of targets. Ended with a 493 26x out of possible 500.

btw, nice target. May you shoot many more.
Do you call your shots? If you call your shots honestly and accurately, you should know your score before you go down range.
I usually call my shots. That shot at 12 o’clock in the ten away from the group felt like a flier.
Re: Clean a Target... Show us!
I might go mad trying to post more pics. In my most recent effort, I was able to post a link to Flickr, but it's three lines without a thumbnail, which is probably what you saw last week before I deleted it. The real mysterious element is that, when I edit my post, the photo appears in the text box without the link. When I "Send" it, the photo disappears and three lines of code return.
When I select the "Host an image" icon, it leads me to a Servimg link, but I cannot find a way to login to Servimg.
In my quest for a reliable method to post a photo, I have reviewed at least three different techniques which do not work.
My latest effort is here: https://www.bullseyeforum.net/t20p375-show-me-your-bullseye-pistols#179706

That's a great target. I shot 7x last week on timed fire, but my outliers were an 8 and two 9's.

Re: Clean a Target... Show us!
This thread should highlight achievements, specifically "Clean Targets." By posting anything else, those posters are highlighting to themselves and more unfortunately to others, lesser achievements. It is common for us to want to be the center of attention and this a way to bring the focus from the achievements of others to ourselves. But, more detrimental is the addition of moving the focus of the achievement to a lesser level as the "last thing everyone sees," whether it's images or text.
If you want to shoot less than 10s, think about those rings outside the ten and write down about those shots to help enforce your focus, but this should be done personally, not openly. Openly we should try to promote perfection. This thread should be about reinforcing tens, not something else.
Let's revel in the achievements of others without diminishing their moments with our "not quites." If you would like to contribute to this thread, try adding praise or some "Clean Targets" of your own. You'd be surprised how much better you can shoot by focusing more on better results, even those of others.
A last thought: In your visualization always "see" perfection. If you place less than that in your subconscious, guess what it gives you.

Nice X groups!
EDIT TO ADD: If you go up the page to my 5/28/2023 posting with the Python revolver in the shot, you will see that I shot 100 with only 2x. That is no small feat to dance around the X with those chubby 38 wadcutters and miss it so many times.
