Are Powder and bullets scarce again....yet?
As there seems to be an inverse relationship between age & ammo consumption it has been some time since I purchased powder or bullets. As my inventory is getting smaller I went on line and checked for BE & H414. I only took the time to check 2 suppliers; Midway & Cabella's. Nothing available except 1 pounders on one of those sites.
I hadn't heard comments at the range of late. What have those of you who have sought to buy 4's & 8 's recently found?
Cabella's did show the cost for 4's & 8's of Hogdon pdrs. and my only comment would is:
Sacre Bleu!!

Last year was my first year at Camp Perry. They literally had hundreds of 8 pound jugs. The pricing was competitive. Vendor Row is a reason you might not have thought of to attend the National Matches.

At my local chain store here is ohio they have the best selection I've seen in years of powder and even .22 LR. Primers however seem scarce.....Every powder I've seen mentioned with the exception of Vihta which I don't think they carry.

Ive had no problems shopping for bullets on line. Local stores no way... noone seems to stock lead local around here. Powders is another thing... I have not seen much in the way of pistol powders in ages. And Im a small volume reloader... Im fine with 1 pounders.
